Deacons are men who serve in special capacities, usually
assigned by the Shepherds/Elders of a congregation. At
George West we have one man who is currently serving as a
Deacon. Below you will find information about the man
and his family:

Larry Millermon began serving as a
Deacon in early 2005. He is married to the
former Rose Zuniga and the couple is
blessed with five children. Four of their
children are still at home: Ashley, Ariel,
Amanda, and Larry. The Millermon's have
one married daughter, April, and one
precious granddaughter, Emily.
Larry works as a gauger for one of the major
petroleum companies. Rose is a homemaker
and enjoys having her children close to her.
Larry oversees the carrying of the Lord's
Supper to those who are not able to be in
our service on Sunday. He is also currently
teaching our young people.
Besides taking care of her family, Rose
spends lots of time working with our ladies in
their particular endeavors.
